Fishing for Words of Wisdom

PostAuthor: kroz » Tue Dec 06, 2011 9:18 am

Some of you regularly listen to folks like Rush Limbaugh. I don't.

I think it would be prudent if we start a thread about insights gleaned from talk radio or op-eds, etc.

Personally, I would be interested in knowing if Limbaugh or others have come out in favor of a particular candidate. If so, why.

Please keep this thread in mind as you read and listen to political opinions.

That's a good idea. I'm not one to listen to these either, but know they are instrumental in presenting much needed information to the general public. A thread like this could be very helpful.

Thanks!

kroz, on our popup radio player you can listen to WTN out of Nashville. Their whole daily lineup is very good and very conservative.
You can also access that here radio.php?station=1

Also, I advise everyone to please listen to Doug Nurbanski's show from yesterday, here in his archives. http://www.urbanskishow.com/
It was very powerful and insightful. He is being cancelled, assassinated as he calls it so he is pulling out all of the stops this week but yesterday's show was excellent. All 3 hours of it. Download it and listen to it on a mp3 player if you want.

He describes how we have to attack and i agree with it.

Thanks Bing. I will try to do that.

If you gleaned any particular insights, please share them here, as not everyone will be able to listen to the program.
Thanks

I think that the conservative talk show hosts are very valuable. they have big microphones and can get the information out clearly. I particularly trust Rush, Mark Levin, Hannity and Beck. They research what they say before they say it. There are many other good local and regional voices too. We need contact with as many as possible because they can alert millions instantly.

I agree with that Fred. Your post reminded me of another source of information for conservatives.

The Family Research Council (Tony Perkins) does a Washington Briefing every year and has wonderful speakers from the political arena. They really give more information than you get in the media because they have much inside information. We have attended it and thought it one of the best meetings we have every attended.

ALSO, they do a Washington Briefing that is just for Pastors. We sent our Pastor one year and he said it was incredible.
It would be nice if we could get as many Pastors as possible to attend this Briefing in 2012. If you can financially help a Pastor to attend, please do so. If you cannot, then approach your Church Leadership and ask them to possibly finance a trip for the Pastor. It is well worth the small price. They will gain priceless words of wisdom and learn what they can and should say from their pulpits. Our Pastors are typically not addressing issues of Christian and Biblical merit as they relate to our current political arena. There is a needless fear that churches will loss their tax exemptions. FRC can educate them on the guidelines. For information on this event, see:

From what I gather in the Conservative talk world round here anyways is Valentine dont like Newt much. nerbanskit has a plan of attack to call this Liberal Marxist what he truly is and sticking to the damming FACTS. Valentine asked Santorum to come on the show but he has not replied yet. If i were him I would be on every talk show out there on downtimes.

i dont get some of the other ones but it looks like the buzz is Santorum but he needs to make some phone calls to these stations in between travelling to get the word out.

I can not articulate Nerbanski as he so beautifully does but he is in attack mode on the Dali Bama and we I believe have to as well.

They took a real good candidate away from us with lies and innuendo's. We need to do the same to them but with facts! And Lord knows we got alot of them!

Here is how we do that. Anything that discredits The Dali-Bama that is posted on this cite tweet it, email it, share it on Facebook or anywhere else for that matter. These tweets and so on aggregate on not just our Twitter accounts but on others that follow us in RSS feeds and in our daily paper too and all over the place. We need to get the facts out about the Dali-Bama and often to soften him up as best we can. Share things we post here to other cites and share theirs with us.

This is a war and we have to utilize the tools we have here and in other places to win!

If any of you are still in Rick Perry's camp, listen up.

Are you sure this is your guy? His bungling seems to know no end.

Bungling on inconsequential things is just that. Would hate to disqualify Perry on that bungle alone. I know there are more, but if everything Perry said was bungled he would shine like a bright star against the dark star we have in our house now. Just saying. This thread is a great idea, Kroz. Wish the idea was mine.
