Our Perfect Candidate

Let look at that man / woman that would be our perfect candidate.

First they would be honest. They would not tell us that George chopped down the cherry tree when, in fact it was them.

Second they would have a sense of Integrity. They would do what they say, and say what they do.

Third we want them to know the Constitution.

Plus we want them to have a family (a perfect family at that)
We want them to be a church going Christian. (but which one?)
We want them to be faithful, to family and church.
We want them to be clean, without a record of mischief or crime.
We want them to be successful, in business and life.
We want them to be decisive.
We want them to surround themselves with good advisors.

WELL GOOD LUCK! It ain’t gonna happen

Not in this world. Not in this time. Not in this country.
Why would you ask? That is a simple answer. Nobody is perfect. Nobody will ever be perfect. The last perfect person that was on this earth was over 2000 yrs ago, and I bet that even he was at least a bit mischievous has a child learning the way to live ones life.

We just lost a good man from the presidential race. He was a man who had the Ideas of what to do to right this ship of state. But because we let the MSM and the other political machines dictate to us that the man was not perfect, and we lost him.

So we know that all of the rest of the field is not perfect too. We knew that from the beginning, and the MSM and Obama know that too. Who’s the next to be crucified? Are We Going To Let This Happen Again? Just tell me who it is that they want to run against? Do They Get To Pick Our Next Presidential Candidate Again?

Jesus Christ died on the cross a long time ago. We can only strive to be as good a man as he was. I doubt we ever find another. We may however find someone that comes close, but never one like him.

It is now time to start looking for the candidate that will return us back to the Founding Father’s America, no matter what their faults maybe.

Without missing a beat we need to turn our time, money and commitment to another conservative candidate. No time for grieving the loss of Cain. Seize the moment and get behind Bachmann or Santorum. The Conservatives in Iowa understand this critical juncture ahead and are meeting to determine which candidate they can unite behind. My guess is that they will choose Bachmann or Santorum. I will support which ever of these two candidates that emerges from the early primaries with the best chance of winning. Until then, I'm backing Bachmann.

The no perfect candidate argument is very true, but it is also exploited by those who seek to promote their own, sometimes very flawed, candidate.

All the remaining candidates have records to examine and those should be evaluated closely in deed as well as for what they are saying now. After all, we are all really trying to predict what their likely future methods and decisions might be. Those whom have had integrity and shown a principled position consistently are the ones that are most likely to continue to do so. This is true for most people in and out of politics.

Hopefully we nominate the least imperfect candidate, with the most conservative position possible, but even then, watch out, the liberals will be laying in wait with their latest October surprise...

I've agreed with Boyd's assessment in the past and continue to do so. I also agree it's time to pick our own candidate, one that tends more towards the Constitution than away from it. We're now stuck with a field of candidates, most of whom have proven records of moving away from the Constitution, however they're now 'promising' they've changed their ways and will do as we want rather than what they think is best for us...once they've been elected. Believe this and I've got a bridge for sale.

Like Kroz, I'm wondering why Santorum hasn't had as much backing especially from the TPM so will be giving him a much closer look. I'm also reassessing Perry. You can bet whomever the new front leader may be unless it's Newt or Romney they're going to undergo the same from the RINO's and the MSM as Cain.

One thing as well is Cain last I know will still be on the ballot so I dont know how that will play out.

"We have no good candidates" is the drumbeat under the media message. We have several very much better choices than we have had for a long time and each is the polar opposite of obummer and his agenda. Santorum, Bachmann, Perry, and Ron Paul would change the federal government direction from centralized to very limited power. I reject Ron Paul because of his main theme of isolationism at all costs. Santorum, Bachmann and Perry are definitely not acceptable to the "experts", hence the "no good choices" mantra.

This movement erupted in reaction to the "experts" and communist left's training that said "The Wizards of DC know best for you and therefore you WILL obey!" You, the citizens are too ignorant and provincial to make your own decisions. These elitists exist within the established political class. Our job is to reignite the movement to refute those messages and prove our point once and for all.

We know what America needs to repair 50 years of damage. We need determined, principled leaders in politics to correct the political landscape. We need determination ourselves to grab our guts and principles and refuse to tire until we force DC to heel. This fight will take grit. This fight is for all of America. Don't tell me you're tired. If you quit get out of the way. If you are determined to fight for our Country, ignore the media and the nay-saying people who try to get you to quit. Reject them and gather your allies. Bring your thoughts and friends here to plt, plan, and forge ahead. We will not be discouraged because the fight is tough. Who thought this would be easy??

Well, you might say that I have come to a juncture in the political road. For the past 24 hours I have wrestled with this and have reluctantly come to a new place on the political landscape. I just posted this on another thread but I will repost it here in case anyone missed it. It you want to excommunicate me from the forum after this, I will completely understand!! :o

The more I mull this over in my head, the more I am reassessing some of my political priorities.

What is America's biggest threat TODAY? Obama. What is the most dangerous thing at his disposal today? The world monetary system. Why? Because many of the world's economies are on the brink of collapse and that gives an inordinate amount of power to Obama through the IMF and World Bank. Right now Obama can literally bring down the dollar and the American economy. He is currently making promises to foreign nations that cannot be sustained by our debt and economy. He is publicly pulling a bait and switch to our sheeple. He says that we will not bail out Greece or the Euro. But he adds that we cannot afford to let them fail. So, he is directing the IMF to exchange "credit units" with the European Banks effectively allowing a QE of the Euro at the expense of the dollar. Folks, that is OUR tax dollars going to bail out the Euro. We are now going to be forever linked to the collapsing European Union. When it falls, we fall.

Why in Pete's name is the media not all over this story. Why is Congress not intervening on the behalf of their constituents?

I will boldly claim that a President Newt Gingrich would be doing exactly the same thing.
Interesting enough, it is the female leader in Europe that is exhibiting the b*&&s to resist this ploy. Angela Merkel is the only world leader today with the intellectual integrity to not fold under international pressure to rescue Greece, then Italy, and then probably Portugal and Ireland......

IMO, this backdoor acceptance of the European debt on the backs of U.S. taxpayers will be our undoing as a Nation, a Republic, and a free people.

Which GOP candidate today is most likely to tackle this problem head on? It sure as heck won't be Newt, Romney, Huntsman, or Perry. It might not even be Bachmann or Santorum because this is outside of their areas of expertise. So, who is the most knowledgeable about the world monetary system, World Bank, Federal Reserve and other fiscal matters? Who has actually written a book on this subject?

Yep, it's Ron Paul. Is Ron Paul scary to me on many issues? You bet! However, if we implode as a national economy, those issues are somewhat inconsequential. Our world is collapsing around us. Should we be focusing on our national "windows and shutters" or on our crumbling foundation?

It is with much angst and trepidation that I find myself gravitating toward Ron Paul's camp. Why? Beyond the things I have already mentioned above, Ron Paul has been nothing if not consistent in his positions over the decades. He has been consistently unmoved by lobbyists or party pressure from his colleagues. He is totally true blue to his convictions on every front. He knows and fully understand the Federal Reserve and the monetary corruption taking place at it's hands. He has no affinity or affection for any particular foreign power. He consistently puts America's best interests first. He doesn't buy into this garbage that we must financially undergird every other nation.

I know you are all surprised at my statements. Quite frankly, I am surprised too. I never thought I would be saying these things. However, the chain of events in the past week have brought me face to face with the reality of our most vulnerable issue as a nation. As someone once said, "It's the economy, stupid!"
And more specifically it is our dollar being sacrificed to the international monetary system. That is what our economy rides upon - the dollar. How long can we endure as a nation? I don't really know. I'm praying that we can last another 14 months. Right now that seems highly unlikely to me. In 2012 our debt is slated to excede 100% of our GDP.

It would appear that Obama's stars are lining up to fulfill his dreams.

If anyone can shed further light on this looming catastrophe, I appreciate your input.

Kroz, I can understand the desperation and the lure of his domestic ideas on the monetary system, however what he envisions is an immediate and sudden retraction from all foreign relationships as well, as seen in his volunteered additions to his answers in last night's forum with the AGs. Total tunnel vision is not what we need for America now.IMO

By the way Dear Lady, you couldn't be disowned here for any possible views other that calling for war. We know your serious dedication to our fight. I think that we have other choices who are just as strong on Constitutional limits and monetary policy who know what international promises and treaties mean, both to America and the World.
